My gay heart wept for my friend Kerry in Long Island, NY when she sent me this pic last week of her car buried in a frozen snow drift. It took her two hours to dig out so she could go to work.
And here I am in sunny 70's Los Angeles wearing cargo shorts, a Metallica tee, and flip flops. Don't hate me, East Coast and Midwest! I feel your cold, sick-of-the-snow pain, and hope against all weather forecasting odds that on Wednesday, that damn little groundhog doesn't see it's shadow!
I'm so not a snow bunny and if I opened the door to this, I'd weep and promptly close it until spring!
Check out the Power Lab if you want to be able to understand and deal with crisis like we're seeing in Egypt. It's an incredible & insightful experience to make you a better person. They usually have them in April.

Having lived in the midwest most of my life, and in CT for the last 4 years (I moved to AZ last July), I also feel your pain. I don't miss this crap ONE bit! Not feeding the horses in it, not driving in it, and not feeling the aches and pains of arthritis in it. Hot chocolate by the gallon and b/w tv with an afghan with a couple of pooches, kids and kitties to pass the time away while the schools were closed. The only redeeming factor.
